Isolgomma is an Italian company with fifty years of expertise in the production and commercialization of vibration and sound-absorbing products made from recycled rubber for civil and industrial construction. The quality of materials and the know-how acquired over the years have led to the success of Isolgomma in Italy and abroad as a reference partner for prominent projects such as the Hilton Hotel in Baku and the Cayan Tower in Dubai.

The history of Isolgomma

Isolgomma S.r.l. was founded in 1972 in Vicenza by Bruno Grazioli, who, with great foresight, identified recycled rubber as an ideal raw material for acoustic insulation and vibration reduction in the construction sector. In his words: "I was looking for a new way to protect the environment, reducing rubber waste and promoting its reuse." The quality of Isolgomma's soundproofing products and the increasing focus on acoustic comfort within buildings quickly led to the company's success and growth: from the mid-1980s, Isolgomma expanded into the rail and tram mobility sector, supplying the first anti-vibration mats for Line D of the Lyon metro. At the same time, the first products in the Mustwall range for vertical wall sound insulation were introduced. In the following years, the company continued to grow and invest in research and development. In the 2000s, fruitful collaborations began with the University of Naples Federico II in railway applications and the University of Padua in acoustics. Today, Isolgomma is a recognized brand distributed in 25 countries - in civil and industrial construction, infrastructure, and transportation sectors.

Isolgomma products

Isolgomma products are divided into two main categories: acoustic insulation and vibration control.

Isolgomma acoustic insulation products

Isolgomma's acoustic insulation products are used in both civil construction, for homes, schools, hospitals, offices, and industrial settings to contain the transmission of sound waves from one environment to another. The Isolgomma range for acoustic insulation includes products for subfloor (Upgrei, Grei, Uproll, Roll, Highmat), underfloor (Basewood, Sylcer), ceiling (Rewall, Mustwall), and walls (Trywall, Fybro).

Isolgomma vibration control products

Isolgomma's vibration control products are mainly used in industrial settings for isolating machinery and equipment, and in infrastructure for containing tram and train vibrations. The Megamat range in its various formats is the flagship product of Isolgomma for ground isolation of heavy machinery - compressors, pumps, generators - and light machinery - air handling units, small machinery. The Megafoot line from Isolgomma - a recycled rubber cushion between two steel supports - is the reference product for cases where it is necessary to raise and isolate machinery from the ground, dissipating vibrations, frictions, and opposing forces that could damage the machinery. Completing the vibration isolation range are the rail transport products Matrack, Slitrack, and Protrack. Isolgomma's extensive experience combined with the fruitful collaboration between the company and the University of Naples has allowed Isolgomma to achieve and maintain the highest quality standards for its anti-vibration products over time, as well as certifications and technical documentation related to surface, tunnel, and underground railway applications.

Isolgomma references and certifications

Since 1972, Isolgomma has been producing products composed of 90% recycled rubber fiber and granules, aiming for a true circular economy to improve people's quality of life while safeguarding the environment. In Isolgomma's products, technical quality and environmental sustainability go hand in hand. The company, its products, and its processes are certified to UNI EN ISO 9001, UNI EN ISO 14001, and UNI ISO 45001 standards. Due to their variety, quality, and sustainability, Isolgomma products have been chosen by partners and for projects worldwide, such as the Akademia Gorniczo Hutnicza in Krakow, Herengracht 132 in Amsterdam, the Ottoman Palace Hotel and Resort in Dubai,
